Open to all 10 Alliance partner school districts. Each district may bring 25 high school juniors and/or seniors. A presentation is held to prepare the students about what to expect at the fair and how to interact during the fair. A pizza lunch is provided. Students meet with department representatives and academic advisors regarding the available majors and minors at CSUSM
Where counselors come together from middle and high school to focus on meeting the needs of the whole student - academic, cognitive, social, and emotional. Handouts and presentations provided at forum.
A celebratory reception recognizing Alliance students from our partnership school districts who are entering CSUSM in the Fall as freshmen. Students and families are welcomed by the Vice President of Community Engagement, the Director of The Alliance, and leadership personnel from the Office of Admissions & Recruitment. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt collecting valuable information that will help them during their college career. And a possible guest appearance from CSUSM's mascot - CRASH!
A place for Alliance students to "meet up" during U-Hour with other Alliance students, connect, hear about useful information to help navigate college, have a full healthy lunch, and enjoy a mid-day break. Upcoming AMUs:
